
Bacon Cheese Burger
DescriptionThis isn't your ordinary bacon cheese burger with strips of bacon on top of the burger but the savory flavor of hickory smoked bacon coming from within the hamburger gently mixed together and topped with cheese, lettuce and tomato. That was a mouthful and you'll say this burger is a tasty mouthful!What you need1 large cast iron frying pan
1 small cast iron frying pan
1 spatula
1 large kitchen knifeIngredients
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 pound Hickory Smoked Bacon fried to almost crisp
1 package American Cheese Slices
4 tomatoes sliced
1 head of lettuce leafed
2 large brown onions sliced (optional)
1 package of hamburger buns
salt and pepperWhat you need to do
Cut bacon crossways into 1/2"strips. Fry to almost crisp in small frying pan. Mix into ground beef and make 1/2 thick patties. Over medium heat put a little vegetable oil in frying pan. Fry on one side 10 to 15 minutes, flip over for another 10 to 15. When they're almost done place slice of American cheese on burger patty to melt. Put mayonnaise on bun top and bottom, place burger on bottom bun, top with lettuce and tomato. Salt and pepper and serve. Onion (optional)
